エポック カセットビジョン
The Epoch Cassette Vision (1981) was one of the earliest Japanese home consoles with interchangeable cartridges. It preceded the Famicom by two years and sold approximately 400,000 units in Japan.
The heart of the system was the NEC μPD777C, a single-chip microcomputer with integrated display controller, capable of rendering 62×64 resolution graphics with up to 8 colors and 12 sprites.
